I am a personal trainer at Apple Valley 24-Hour Fitness. I began my fitness journey after being diagnosed with COPD, a condition I developed after serving several tours in the middle east. Doctors advised that the best medicine to slow the condition down would be regular exercise. I took that advise and never looked back. During the last several years of my 26-year military career, I was appointed as the Fitness Manager for my squadron, tasked with managing a team of trainers who helped airmen maintain a level of fitness proficiency required for military service. I sincerely enjoy helping others improve their quality of life through fitness.
I take your fitness goals seriously. I understand that losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging, and my goal is to help you overcome hurdles and reach your goals. I will analyze your body type, BMI, and metabolism, to create your individualized fitness plan.
Lack of knowledge in programming workouts leads to plateaus, which eventually leads to quitting. With years of success and experience, I am capable of analyzing your body and creating a progressive-overload fitness plan that will help you reach and maintain your goals. I will work with you to keep you on track and motivated by modifying the acute variables in your plan as necessary.
I understand that adapting new fitness habits can be difficult. My goal is to change your view on fitness, so that it becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. I strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
